When is this trip?

The trip is from 22 to 27th December (6D5N). We set off from Singapore at around 7:50am (22 Dec) and arrive back in Singapore at around afternoon – evening. (TBC)

Where is Surabaya exactly?

Surabaya is Indonesia’s second-largest city and the capital of the province of East Java. It is located on the northern shore of eastern Java at the mouth of the Mas River and along the edge of the Madura Strait.

How much does this trip cost? What does the cost include?

The cost of this trek is around $750 (dependent on airfare price). We will refund the remaining amount if manage to secure lower airfare prices. *pray* Members of NUS Rovers and participants of Cyclohunt 2014 are eligible for a $5 discount. The money you pay will go into the air tickets, local transport, accommodation and tour fees.

How many participants will there be on this trek?

There will be 15 participants on this trek.

What is the itinerary like in our sentence?

Get in touch with nature and take in the amazing sights of the beautiful landscapes from the vantage point of Mount Bromo and Mount Semaru. *yes! two mountains!* In addition, we will have white water rafting, paragliding and Christmas activities if time permits!  (oops! this is more than a sentence but no words is enough to describe our awesome trek!) 

Will there be a local guide?

We have enlisted the help of a local guide for some activities.

Where will we be spending our nights?

Of the 5 nights, some nights will be spent in a tent, some nights will spent in a hotel and  some will be spent in a home stay.

How and where will we be having our meals?

Some meals we’ll cook ourselves during camping (equipment and food provided), some we’ll be having at the village, and some will be at the towns.

Will there be shower facilities?

Where the night is spent in the tents, there will be no shower facilities. However, shower facilities will be provided in both the hotel and home stay.

How is this trek different from the others?

Plus, we have special Christmas parties planned during the trip which you will not get to see in other treks.
