Where will we be visiting?

We will be doing full day and half day treks around the mountainous regions of Hong Kong, because contrary to popular belief, Hong Kong is an amazing place to trek or to just enjoy the cool mountain breeze! We will mainly be visiting Lantau Peak, Dragon’s Back Hiking Trail and tackling the first 2 stages of the famous Maclehose Trail. Lantau Peak is the second highest peak in Hong Kong, and famous for its view of the sunrise. Dragon’s Back Trail is situated at Hong Kong Island and often praised as the best urban hike in Asia! Maclehose Trail is a 100km route that traverses a wide area of Hong Kong, and the first 2 stages are the most scenic 🙂

What is the difficult rating of this trek?

2 out of 5 stars. Dragon’s Back Trail has a gentle terrain and little incline so it will be relatively easy! As for the other two trails, they might be more physically demanding but still manageable. For Lantau Peak Trail, the challenge will be the steep climb to the summit. Whereas, for Maclehose Trail, the difficulty will be in the length of the first 2 stages. Don’t worry too much though, because we will help you along the way!

The estimated cost of this trek is $700 SGD (dependent on airfare price). Costs include return airfare, accommodation in Hong Kong as well as travel insurance.
