The trip will be held on 27 December 2014 (day trip). We set off from Singapore at 5:00am and arrive back in Singapore at 11:30pm.

Gunung Belumut (Mount Belumut) is located at Kluang town in the state of Johor, Malaysia.
How much does this trip cost? What does the cost include?
The cost of this trek is $98. Members of NUS Rovers are eligible for a $5 discount. The cost will cover transport, hiking permit, guides, entrance fees and insurance.
How many participants will there be on this trek?
There will be 20 participants on this trek.

We have enlisted the help of two local guides for the trek.
How difficult is this trek? How fit do I have to be to climb Gunung Belumut?
Moderate fitness and mountain hiking experience are recommended. Beginners who wish hike this mountain should be comfortable with walking on slopes for prolonged hours. Some parts of the climb may be steep, and will require you to get your hands dirty. Other mountains in the same difficulty range would be Mount Ophir and Mount Nuang.
What health considerations should I keep in mind?
Participants are strongly advised to consult his/her medical practitioner prior to the registration of the trek to certify his/her fitness and to be immunized against diseases such as tetanus.
How and where will we be having our meals?
As we will not be stopping over for breakfast, please do pack along your breakfast and lunch. We will be having lunch at the summit of Gunung Belumut and dinner at Kluang town at our own expenses, so please be reminded to bring some cash along.
Will there be shower facilities?
Yes, there are basic shower facilities at the base of Gunung Belumut so do bring along those mini shampoos, body wash and a towel (We will give you a recommended packing list)!
