NEGERI SEMBILAN FAQ
When is the trip?
It will be a 2 Day 2 Night trip from 19th July 2019 to 21st July 2019. We will be meeting at 1830HRS on 19/07/19 at Marsiling MRT. We will arrive back in JB Sentral on 21/07/19 at 1700HRS. From there, you can either make your way back to Singapore or extend your stay in Malaysia.
Where are we going?
This time, we will bring you to Negeri Sembilan! We will be doing a sunrise hike up Bukit Senaling, 394m above sea level. Despite its low elevation, Bukit Senaling is famous for its ‘Sea of clouds’ which appears early in the morning, hence a spectacular view! Then, we will head to Gua Batu Maloi for spelunking, where a unique caving experience entails! Lastly before ending the trip, we will spend the night in Melaka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Will this trek be difficult?
We are rating this trek 2/5. This is a beginner friendly trek but we do expect that you have some basic fitness level before embarking on this trip!

How different is this trek?
Apart from being our last Malaysia trek for this Summer, why not take this opportunity to take a break before the new semester starts! This will be a fun-packed weekend getaway!
Any things to take note?
We will be trekking in the dark for the sunrise trek. For caving at Gua Batu Maloi, it is a narrow cave passage where you will have to climb, squeeze, crawl, and even wiggle your bodies through the cave between streams of water that could be waist deep. Hence, if you are not comfortable with being in tight spaces or navigating through bodies of water, this may not be suitable for you. Otherwise, it definitely will be a unique and fun experience!
