Hello fellow adventurers,
Missed out on our Pipeline Trek? Fret not, we are back with our second local trek this semester! Join us as we embark on a Bukit Brown Heritage Trek, where we will be doing a unique guided tour in the Bukit Brown Cemetery. We will be learning about the different stories behind each tomb and how these individuals contributed to how Singapore is today. At the same time, we will also learn about the rich flora and fauna that Bukit Brown has to offer.
So what are you waiting for? Kick-start your recess week with a morning spent outdoors, and get to explore a rustic piece of Singapore’s heritage and history!
There are limited slots available so do sign up as early as possible.
When is the trek?
It will be on Saturday, 22 February. We will first meet at Botanic Gardens MRT at 745am before walking to Bukit Brown Cemetery. Over there, we will link up with our guide.
How long will the trek be?
About 3 hours. We will end around 12 noon.
How difficult will the trek be?
Not at all! It will be a fulfilling and enjoyable trek for everyone 😀
How much is it?
Good news… it is completely free!!!
Things to bring/wear:
- Thermometer* (compulsory)
- Poncho/Umbrella (compulsory)
- Covered, comfortable worn-in sports shoes
- Water bottle (Min 1L)
- Bug Spray (compulsory)
- Sun Block (optional)
- Light snacks and isotonic drinks (optional)
- Change of clothes (optional)
- Medication (If any)
- Small daypack
